When I was in Nashville I had brunch with a country music artist named Sarah Buxton. At brunch we talked about Oliver and she was surprised to hear that Oliver could play the harmonica. I mentioned that Oliver’s harmonica was a plastic hand me down one from his friend Ethan, and how Oli has been playing it since his first birthday. Sarah was so impressed that she gave me a real harmonica to give The Kid when I got home. I did just that. Oliver and Papi picked me up at the airport, and as soon as I got in the car I gave him the harmonica and he happily played me a tune the entire way home.

Maybe next year Oliver will come with me to Nashville and play his new harmonica for Sarah in person—until then this picture will be the only proof. For those of you who have not heard of Sarah, you should give her new album a listen. Here is Sarah’s MySpace Website where you can hear a few tracks from her cd.
