Oliver's vocabulary continues to grow. This morning, while he was busy scarfing down some scrambled eggs, I went to the fridge to grab a pint of OJ, and served myself a small glass. When I sat it down he looked at the glass, then at me and said "juice"...so I handed him the glass and after a big gulp, he repeated the word. This gets added to "Moon", "Nina" and "Nino", which he's almost got down,"dirt", which he loves to say, "Bus", and "poo, poo", which he shares with us when he's about to soil his diaper.
Since he knows what poop is, and he knows when it's coming, today was also the day we went to pick out training seats. Oliver picked out the Baby Bjorn seat, and booster. We'll start tonight and see how he does. He's just discovered a tiny chair in this room. so he's got the sitting part down. But he's used to pooping standing up, so we'll keep at it.
After breakfast we went to the flower market downtown to look at plants for our landscaping project, and Oliver got to sniff at all the different varieties.

Hurray for Oliver! One of these days he will be talking a blue streak and you will be asking "Will this kid ever shut up?" :) Did you pick up any dandilions? As I recall he seemed to favor them here :) At least when they got to the stage where you could blow them apart :)
Good luck with the potty training. It does take patience. There will be set backs but he will do it!
Hang in there! Love, AC
Rest assured I will never say those words. I love hearing that little voice. Keep em' coming kid!
