Favorite Things Blog About Photos
Friday AM

Let me begin with an apology for neglecting the blog. As of late I have been trying to live life a little bit rather than blog about it. OK, wait, that's not entirely true. I have been really busy for some reason at work, Papi has a cold, and I have not had much time for anything other than work and kid.

Here's a quick recap of Christmas. The after Christmas Sales totally sucked. Oliver got some more clothes but his dad's did not do too well.

Oliver's favorite toy he got before Christmas was the BMW Z3 Roadster Ride-A-Long from The Chavez Family. That kid in the picture is not Oli BTW, but if you want to see pictures of Oli and the Beemer, you should peek at the photoblog.

The BMW was parked on Christmas morning when he opened his Babystyle Hook & Ladder Fire Truck from Aunt Christine. You can get your very own at Babystyle.com, there are pics of Oli with the truck in the photoblog. This was his favorite toy on Christmas, but then came Boxing Day gifts...

The Day after Christmas, The Dads' needed to make a comeback and did so with a cute little toy car. It is "The First Friends Car" made by Tolo. When you push the driver's head the car starts up, the motor rev's, the horn blows, the head lights and tail lights blink, it peels out and drives forward a few feet before the breaks squeal and light up and the driver lets out a hearty giggle. It's totally loud, annoying, and we all love it! It is now Oliver's favorite toy and it was about 30 bucks at Needless Markup, er, Neiman Marcus. You can find the "First Friends Car" and more Tolo Toys by clicking here.

I want to thank everyone for the lovely gifts. I will blog about them all at some point and I hope to get shots of Oliver in all the wonderful outfits that were sent.

Thank you for your support and your love. It is truly appreciated.
May everyone's holiday be as special as ours!

Thanks again.

PS: Tonight's favorite Christmas gift was Aunt Monte's classic Radio Flyer Horse. This is the only ride-a-long toy (he got three different ones) that Oliver actually wants to ride on for a few minutes. He's still not totally comfortable stradling the Beemer or the fire truck and prefers to push those from behind rather than actually mount. The Radio Flyer Horse however, he will sit on and push himself -- although he only seems capeable of pushing himself backwards. (What can I say, he's his fathers' son.)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I've been watching for updates everyday. As you can tell I have no life :) Haven't looked at the pictures yet but that is next on my list. I have something for Oliver here - I know, what good is that doing him there? :) I want to add to the package before I ship. Haven't been able to get to the stores since NYC but I will soon.

I hope Chris is feeling much better by now and that you and Oliver have not caught what he has :) I'm thinking of you and sending you my very best wishes for a wonderful New Year. May all your dreams come true!!

Merry Christmas, Happy New Years and thanks for the XMAS candy! Rose wanted me to tell you that Oliver's xmas present is here... waiting on her to box it up and ship. She's thinking that maybe she will just buy Olie's birthday gift too and then he will get a late and early present, all in one box! Grammy Kathy is watching my girls tonight so that I can drink and get loopie without little eyes watching. Hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend! It's snowing a little here and it's finally covering the grass.

Hello- I just wanted to "THANK EVERYONE" for spoiling my Grandson and for loving him so much! Of course, now I have to make another trip soon so I can help Oli master his new toys! OK, so I want to be his TOY TRAINER! I know it's a rough job but someone has to do it. I'm just thankful that I can still get up off the floor. Amazing what Grandchildren can do for ya. HAPPY NEW YEARS to all! See ya in 2006! xoxoxoxGrammy
