So today marks The Kid's first Thanksgiving. We started out by watching the beautiful sunrise from Oliver's nursery window. These moments with my boy are what I am most thankful for on this most thankful of days. If you look at the photos in the photoblog, you'll see Oliver waving to you.
It's a bit early to blog about what the day will bring but I wanted to say hello to everyone and give you a couple of new pictures to look at. Right now Oliver is down for his morning nap, and Papi is chopping up celery for his stuffing. I just cut some fresh rosemary from our garden and the Turkey is going in the oven. The house still smells like pies from last night's baking. Actually, just now as I type this entry from the booth in our kitchen, the aroma of cranberry and orange is wafting over my computer screen. Papi has begun the prep for his famous cranberry sauce.
Wish you were all here again with us. Stay safe, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
