The morning came early. It was around 6am when Oliver stirred in his crib and Grammy came upstairs to give him his morning bottle. We played all morning and then after a long nap we went off to the Aquarium of the Pacific
in Long Beach.
Grandma reminisced about visiting Long Beach, the Queen Mary and Aunt Carol’s apartment. We went in and looked at the fish for a couple of hours—Oliver was mesmerized by the huge fish tanks. Sea Horses, Jelly Fish, Sea Stars and Fish, Fish, and more Fish. Everyone’s favorite was the Sea Otter exhibit. One otter in particular was putting on quite a show. The otter was chasing his tail and swimming in circles right in front of Oliver. When you put your hand on the glass tank and moved it in a clock-wise circle, the otter would follow it round and round. The shark exhibit was interesting but because it was outside, and it was sprinkling, we didn’t spend too much time with the sharks.
After the Aquarium we had lunch with Melissa and drove home. Once home Oliver had a bath with his dad and then played all night with The Grandma’s.
Hi Oli, Now ou know Grammy enjoyed the Aquarium! I could have stayed all day! When you get older we will! You were so good the entire day. You even fell asleep while we ate our late lunch before getting on the highway to head home. Of course your Poppi gave you your bottle which you downed in 5 minutes then Gammy walked you around in your stroller hoping you'd take a nap. Melissa even did a few laps so Grammy could have a bite to eat. See what being a GOOD BABY gets you! All the attention and love you want!!!! I miss you! XOXOXOXO Grammy
