Dr. Peter (Sixth Visit)

Today's visit didn't really involve Dr. Peter, but it did involve a visit to his office for Oliver to get The Flu Shot. Yes, we got another shot. Oliver handled this one fairly well. Papi held his feet, I held his hands and put my face in front of his to block his view while Nurse Ratchet gave it to him in his left thigh. He only turned as red as a beet and cried for a few seconds. Next he got a bottle and then we got the heck outta there. Short and sweet.

BTW--Oliver weighed in at a whopping 22lbs.

Yup and it seemed like he slept forever afterwards lol! I thought that he'd be a bit out of it but he was suprisingly attentive when we were working through the Baby Einstein books - he even did quite a bit of scooting around the room too (band-aide fell off after that). Good job, Oli Boy - you're such a big boy! Luv, Cjas :)

Hi Oli, Grammy doesn't like shots either. No matter what age you are they still hurt just for a little while. So be brave and think of something nice and before ya know it you forget all about your shot. I love you and Grammy will kiss it and make it feel better. XOXOXOX Grammy
