Monte came by this morning to keep Oli and I company while Papi was at a "bored" meeting. Our coffee and breakfast, turned into Lunch and shopping as Auntie M was fashionably late, and Oliver decided to go down for his nap. By the time Oliver woke up, Auntie M and I were starving so we bolted to AMMO for some lunch. Oliver was kind enough to let us get not only get through our meal, he let us have ice cream sandwiches for desert too. Auntie M and Daddy had some serious catching up to do! After lunch we walked the shops on 3rd street (Hollywood, not Santa Monica), bought some things we didn’t need, and then bought some Cupcakes and Latte’s that we very much needed. It was over cupcakes and lattes at
Joan's on Third when Oliver decided he was going to go down for another nap. He had no regard for the delicious cupcakes (did I mention cupcakes and lattes?), or the noise of the traffic, or even the noise from a Harley that was trying to park right next to us on the sidewalk. He slept through it all.

It’s amazing how indifferent The Kid is to ice cream and cup cakes. I wonder when that will end? I know Papi was certainly envious when I told him about our day. He’s probably envious thinking about it now as he reads this post too. (cup cakes!)
