Aunt Mikki stopped by for a visit and got her hair yanked on (See pics below). Oliver flirted with Mikki for about half an hour and then promptly fell asleep in my arms at exactly 8pm. He woke up at a quarter to ten with a wet diaper and after I changed him and tried to tuck him in, he pulled the covers over his face as if to play peek-a-boo with me. I thought it was adorable at first, then when I pulled the blankets down to see what I thought would be a smiling face looking back at me, all I got was a dirty look. This was followed by Oliver immediately pulling the blanket back up over his face. It was clear he didn’t really want to play peek-a-boo so I waited to see just how long he would hold the blanket up over his face--his little fingers peeking out from behind the top of the blanked.

I waited and waited and waited for what seemed a lifetime. I got a bit nervous at the thought of him sleeping with the covers over his face so I pulled them back down only to catch his cold stare once again. Oliver quickly pulled the covers back over his face once more. At that point I figured I had better just let him be. I walked out of the room and let him have his way. Clearly he is beginning to develop an attitude. …Ah, a chip off the ol’ block.
