Today we had a flashback to the summer when Enron screwed CA's electric companies with rolling blackouts. It was one of the hotest days this summer and we were stuck at home all afternoon and into the evening with no electricity. It went out at 2:30pm and didn't come back on until around Midnight. That meant no air conditioning and the three of us hangin out by candlelight in our t-shirts and underwear. Lucky for us Oliver's battery operated Crib CD player and his rechargeable nightlights came in handy.

Yuck Joe :( I'm afraid of that happening here too. The weather has been so hot and humid here and from the reports of what is happening out west we don't have much to look forward to :( Hope our Canadian friends can send some cooler air this way. I've been running the air conditioner almost 24/7 as it is.
Little Oliver had an adventure :) Sounds like he did well! At least you can set up a little tub of cool water for him to enjoy a swim :) Stay cool! Love to you all!
