The three of us had a lovely Saturday...running errands, playing in the yard, and just hanging out. Oliver doesn't always get both of us, what with work and other interruptions. He's a serious little man...as you can tell by this rare picture of the three of us. And I guess Papi looks a little serious too...Daddy is always smiling. Oliver loves the gift that Grammy got for Papi for his birthday, a glider that sits on a porch filled with fresh herbs and lemon trees in bloom. From the glider, he can see the entire canyon and the LA Skyline. He can stare for minutes on end (trust me that's a long time for short-attention-span-theatre-patrons like Oliver) at the vista. He also loves trees, particularly on his walks (which we got a couple in today)...he giggles everytime he goes under them.
Hey! Little Oliver is getting so big, so fast! Looks like we're going to shoot for April for our family trip to Club Joe (and Chris)...that will make the girls 3 and 8. We haven't told them yet but I'm sure that as soon as they find out, they'll be bugging Aunt Kathy (Granny) to find out all the fun things to do. We look at the pictures on this site weekly so that they know who everyone is. Do you guys have any plans on coming to the east coast anytime soon?
No plans for a trip back East with the Kid anytime soon. Maybe next year...
Nick used to love trees too Joe. When we went for walks I would park him under one and he would laugh and soon fall asleep. I think he thought the movement of the leaves was for his personal entertainment :)
