False Start

This morning (at 5am) I woke to the sound of a baby screaming, more of a YALP really and the sound of the crib banging. I feared the worst. I thought he fell out of his crib. I jumped up, with my heart racing, ran into his room and there he was. Fast asleep. He must have kicked the side of the crib with his feet as he talked in his sleep.

He is beautiful. Although Oliver has not rolled over on his own yet, he is close to doing so. He manages to slide himself around in the crib so that he wakes up in a different spot than where we put him down at. Papi has been warning that we need to lower the crib, but our backs have not let us follow through on that yet. We did take down the mobiles... that's a start right? I think after my rude awakening this morning I am going to lower it post-haste.

Today is a full one. Farmer's Market followed by brunch at Walter & Dilson's. Lisa David and Ethan are coming too. Maybe even Aunt Christine if she got my message.

We are definitely looking forward to seeing everyone and jumping in the pool today with Oliver and Ethan. It will be Oliver's first time swimming in something bigger than the bath tub. I'll be sure to add the pictures to the photoblog after.

Oliver is truly a little miracle isn't he? Babies change so quickly - don't blink :) He seems to fit right in to his home and life with his dads. I'm jealous :) Love to you all!
