Today marks 5 Months for lil Oli.
Oliver can stand with the help of his Dads' hands and he even tries to take a couple steps. It seems as if he'll be walking before he rolls over or crawls.
He likes to blow lots of rasberries and still hits those high notes although not as frequently as he did in previous weeks. His bass and treble seem to be working better so he gets some normal sounds out now too.
He's sleeping though the night still although he does wake up from time to time moaning for his pacifier. Once he gets it he falls right back to sleep. I realize that this is a potentially dangerous habit--especially at 5 months, but it works so well. We've been weaning him slowly for a month now and hopefully it will be gone by the end of this month... I don't really care either way to be honest. So long as The Kid is happy.
I understand that some of you have had trouble signing in to your Type Key accounts. I just tried it and although it said that my comment failed on the first attempt, it worked immediately on the second attempt.
I am not sure why everyone is having trouble, but just give it another try... and thanks for the comments. I know Oli will appreciate them one day too.
Hi my beautiful grandson with a million different looks. It's Grammy and I finally got on to tell you how much I miss and LOVE you. Thanks to your fathers I have the luxury to see your every move on the computer. But I can't hold you and feel you cuddle next to me. I love when you fall asleep in my arms and then I can't wait for you to wake up so I can play with you again. Thanks for coming into our lives little one. You sure do put a SMILE on my face! Oliver, have I told you yet how cute it is to see Daddy JOE, (my son) holding you who looks just like PAPI. I smile every time because it's like Daddy is holding a little Christopher! The end result is you looking like PAPI and acting like Daddy. Hmmm that could be trouble! Grammy better come out there more often so she can give you years of wisdom to go with your little old man look. I keep looking at your pictures wishing that they were you playing with me on the floor! I miss our walks and story time. Now I'm going to go cry and beat up on Avi for your DAD. PLEASE don't be in a hurry for him to grow up Joe. Cuddle him, rock him, snuggle with him, SPOIL him because he will never be this age again. He is growing up too fast :( I love this picture of the two of you. Now we need a picture of the three of you! Love to you all!
