Friday morning is an early one. Oliver and I walk around the garden and enjoy anther beautiful sunshine-y day. Sometimes he wears me out before I even get a chance to shower and get to work.

Oliver has had a boatload of visitors from Rochester, NY. First Tracy, Eric and Cory (ok, Cory is from LA) and then Billy S. who lives in NYC but went to grade school with me. I can’t believe I have friends from grade school still?! Cousin Melissa (originally from Rochester too) and then there was Steve. who lives in LA but is probably from Mars. The intent was to have a game night; play some Euchre or Scene It, maybe get a wild hair and bust out to a club to show Eric how the old people bust a move. Instead we drank some [too strong] vodka lemonades and everyone got tired and went home early.

Since I am talking about Rochester friends I’ll give a shout out to Jamie K--thanks for the comments you posted on the blog earlier… You have no idea how hard we're trying to come home for the July 3rd party this year...We had such a great time at the last one we came to. Alas work is killing all our fun. It’s funny too that you wrote when you did because I was talking at dinner tonight about how great the fireworks were on the lake. I think I still owe your dad some video footage. Congrats to you and Rene on the whole wedding thing. I guess our invite got lost in the mail. (LOL) When that day comes I promise i'll send a baby gift!!

Cousin Melissa and I lasted the longest on Friday night. After everyone went home we sat at the booth in the kitchen talking until what seemed like 3am, but was actually half past midnight. Man, what happening to me?! Lame. Pathetic really. I suppose it was fun talking about the old days with Tracy and Cory. If only we had some rocking chairs.
