Oliver's been such a trouper since this first cold hit him last weekend. Daddy's got the room well prepped...with vaporizer and humidifier. Oliver's moved through it with a smiling face and growing appetite, all the while tolerating swabs in his nose, and the constant mucus evacuations. While it seems to be running its course (both Daddy and I have gotten it and are healed), it's created a new ritual for Oli: calling for Papi to get up in the pre-dawn hours to fix the blankets he's kicked off in the night, or to set the pacifier back in his mouth. I do this, sometimes a couple of times a night, and then watch the little angel fall right back to sleep. I know it's the cold, and it will be over soon and then I'll miss the sight of his little twitches turning to deep breathing and sweet dreams.
